Blind Contour Portraits

This activity was very frustrating.  The first photo was an attempt and drawing my friend Syd without looking at the paper.  It is easy to do that with some items but I thought faces were hard.  The second photo is of Stoel and the third is of Jessica.  I found these two drawings to be very humorous, though not life like at all.

As I was browsing through various blogs today, I came across one that really grasped my attention.  I found the blog, "Crack Skull Bob," very entertaining.  The writer offers an insightful view into his life and thoughts through art and humor.  He uses a few different styles of artwork, but my personal favorites are the cartoon like drawings he creates.  They are typically drawn in pen and have an unrealistic style about them.  As well as his artwork, I like the lightly sarcastic tone he uses to back up his drawings.  Check out the link below.
